GenSan's Kalilangan Festival's right around the corner. General Santos City's 70th Foundation Anniversary is entitled "Pagbabalik Gunita sa Pitumpong Taon ng Kaunlaran, Kapayapaan, at Kasiyahan". The celebration's all set, seeing diligent workers putting up those colorful banderitas, decorations reminds me of the great things that had happened last year. The greatest thing is - - We, the Mindanao State University Performing Arts Guild won the Streetdancing Competition last year, MSU - - truly home of the Champions, no doubt. We have the brains, wits and talents. No offense here. Kalilangan Festival is known for its showcases, pageants, dance competitions, streetdancing and more.
Above is the official poster made by Ramon Magsaysay Memorial College's Grease Art Studio, simply magnificent! Those Rey Billena and Mayor Pedro Acharon vectors. I was extremely dumbfounded, how I wish the Grease Art Studio could rub some of their talent to me. If I would be given the chance to design the festival's poster, I would immediately say YES, it would be a dream come true. Well, anyways, be sure to be in the Grand Ceremonial Opening on the 20th day of February, which is usually followed by a grand fireworks display. Come and see GenSan! HAPPY KALILANGAN GENERALS!
I never thought my Valentine's day would be this great. I'll make this short and simple. Nothing much happened in the morning, we practiced and practiced for this coming Kalilangan Festival Streetdancing Competition this February 27 - - also my dad's birthday. My bestestfriends gave me plenty of candies, gifts and more. When we we're having a break, I went to my locker to get my Physics book. Then, when I opened my locker, I saw a strange note sticked to my lockers' door. Yeah, I know what's on your mind right now. HAHA. Anyways, let's skip that part. When I was on my way home, someone texted me, the number's not familiar. He/She greeted me "Happy Valentines! I bet may ka-date ka na. Sayang.". Strange. Hey! I'm not being boastful here. I arrived at home by 7:45PM. I opened my laptop, logged on at FS, Ftalk, DevArt, Plurk, Y!M, Y!Mail, Blogger - - LOL, then, I recieved a PM from someone. He confessed something to me, not telling what. :P He's my crush for like years now. I feel like floating, I can't even wipe my smile outta my face. And GOD! I'm loving him more each day. END. The rest is history. Uhh, well? Was it short? :P
It's Friday the 13th. People saay it's the day of Badluck or something. And yeah, badluck was following me. This day was really tough, so many frustrations and uhh... nevermind. Here's my DISASTER list :
Disaster #1
I WOKE UP LATE. I glanced at the clock, it was already 6:53! 7 minutes before 7:00. My stupid alarm clock didn't ring, it ran out of batteries! I lunged out of my bed as quick as I can, grabbed my towel and ran to the bathroom. I showered for like five minutes only! Every second seems like an hour. I'm always late, but this time it's worse. I fwooshed to my room, dressed up, combed my untidy hair then again, I ran to the kitchen to see what's cooking. I was so frustrated because our yaya forgot to cook the rice. UGH! I was so late. I skipped breakfast, grabbed some money into my money box then I dashed to the gate it was drizzling and I got wet... to be continued

MY DAD WAS VERY SLUGGISH. When I was about to leave, my dad called me and said that he's gonna ride me home. And I was like "WHAT?!", class is about to start in five minutes! I wanted to cry, I was holding back my tears. I can't say NO to him because he might get mad at me or something, I hate it when he gets mad. And so, I waited for him. My face is getting bitter. i wanted to leave so effin' bad. He moves like a slug, ARGH! I'm pretty sure that I'll be missing our Values Education class. I arrived at school at 8:30... to be continued

I FORGOT MY FREAKING ID. Okay, could my day be any worse?! School rule: No ID, No Entry. I was so hasty that I forgot my ID! How stupid can I be? Sa lahat ng bagay na pwedeng makalimutan yung ID pa?! I immediately grabbed a pen and paper, wrote an excuse letter then I let my dad signed it. My fingers we're crossed, I thought that tall-slash-skinny guard wouldn't let me in. Luckily, my charms worked this time... To be continued

DOWN GOES CHARIZ. I walked and walked as fast as I can, I was almost running. Nothing was on my mind except being late. I'm almost near to my room, picking up speed now, then, BLAG! the next thing I know i was struggling to keep my balance while avoiding a big bump on the hallway, but too late, my heavy bag got ahead of me. It brought me sideways then, down goes Chariz, knee-first. GAAH! My palms were scratched, both my knees were scathed. Then the throbbing started, I struggled to get up. NO ONE EVEN HELPED ME, MABUHAY ANG PINAS! Then a Freshie passed by and looked at me, God bless her, and asked, "Ate, okay ka lang?". And I struggled. To answer her back, I nodded and said "thanks". I never looked back because I know there are a lot of people behind me who saw my dive... to be continued

The place has this "port" interior design that would really catch your attention. My kuya and I ordered 2 Garlic Chickens and a Buy-one-take-one vanilla shake. Their Garlic Chicken was delectably delicious, the creamy shake quenched our thirst. My 150 pesos was worth it.
Graphics designing kills my boredom everytime. At first, I thought Photoshop would be so monotonous. But then I was actually wrong. I thank my kuya Charles for introducing Adobe Photoshop to me, he's a good teacher, he taught me the basics when I was in Grade 4. We were using Adobe Photoshop 5.5 way back then, LOL. After few months of training, I noticed my skills in Photoshop began to improve. Experience honed my talent in GFX making. My teachers in elementary even WOW'ed at my effortless-slash-noobie works. Recieving praises and flattering comments inspires me to do better, i'm not being vain or arrogant here. Just telling the truth. (: And then, FriendsterTalk came into my life. It upgraded my talent in GFX making, there was request threads back then. Making voluntary graphics for people makes me happy, and I'm not demanding for something in return, instead of money, etc. they give me + reputations instead. A thank you is already enough for me. Below is an example of my noob work, I made it when I was still a HS freshie. v
